Event mobile

The project tests the potential to increase and improve the sound of live events. An example is to create a 3D sound experience using headphones connected to the mobile phone at music festival concerts. The concept is that the viewer simultaneously receives sound from two places: the stage and through an FM receiver in the phone. The FM signal is synchronized with the sound from the stage speakers using synchronization algorithm implemented in the phone. The synchronization is based on recordings applying the built-in microphone.

The project has gone througt several stages in joint collaboration with a series of partners, including the North Jutland SME CrossOver Global, now called Audux and the Technical University of Denmark.
